Function room

The perfect venue for a conference, meeting, celebration or special occasion. The room holds up to 130 people and can be set up in a range of styles. On summer evenings, use the veranda with its views across the cricket square to Alconbury church.

There's plenty of space to dance at a birthday, wedding reception or hen night. The great-value bar is fully licensed and run by professional staff. Kitchen, tables and chairs are included, and our duty manager is on hand on the night.

Children's parties are welcome in the function room too, with grass to run on and an enclosed playground outside.

Outdoor gym

Seven pieces of cardio, strength and stretching equipment for ages 11 and up, including the chin-up bars our Youth Club asked for. Many stations are built for two people side by side, so it's more sociable.

The gym is a memorial to Professor Robert (Bob) Berrington MBE, village GP and Chair of Trustees from 1980 to 2016, who always championed exercise and wellbeing. It was funded with support from The National Lottery Community Fund.

Defibrillator

Every minute without CPR and defibrillation lowers the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest by 10%. A public-access AED is mounted on the outside front wall of the club, next to the car park and bike racks.

Anyone can use it, even without training. It gives you voice prompts and will only shock if one is needed. Call 999 first.
