About

Set within 15 acres overlooked by Alconbury Church, Alconbury Sports & Social Club is a not-for-profit community club – a place to meet people, enjoy family time, play and watch sport, and be part of something great. New members are welcome any time, and are an essential part of our future.

We exist to give everyone in the local community a chance to play, with a particular focus on getting children and young people into organised and informal sport.

We're home to senior and junior football and cricket, pool, running, indoor bowls, Pilates, bingo and the WI, and cycling clubs use the site for duathlons and road races.

Dickie Bird umpiring at Alconbury

Everything about Alconbury speaks to me of much that is good about this country… camaraderie, fun and entertainment, all gift wrapped in a typically English village cricket setting.
