Who we are
This website is run by Alconbury Sports & Social Club, Great North Road, Alconbury, Huntingdon PE28 4EX. The club rents its clubhouse from the Alconbury Recreation Field Charity (registered charity 279991), which runs the recreation field. Contact form messages go to the club or the charity, depending on the topic you choose, so the right people can reply. Newsletter sign-ups go to the club. Each of us is responsible for the personal information we receive. You can contact the club at enquiries@assc.org.uk or on 01480 891313, and the charity at info@arfc.org.uk.
What we collect and why
Contact form. Your name, email address and anything else you choose to include (phone number, preferred date, message). We use it only to reply to you and, if you are booking, to arrange your booking. Our lawful basis is your consent, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Newsletter. Your name and email address, so we can send you club news and events. Our lawful basis is your consent. Every newsletter tells you how to unsubscribe, or you can just email us.
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.
Who handles it for us
The website is hosted by Kualo, a UK hosting company. Messages sent through the website's forms are emailed straight to the club and the charity, and aren't stored on the website. The site is built and looked after for us by JC & Co Digital.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and normally no longer than 12 months. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Just email enquiries@assc.org.uk. If you're unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. It doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, or analytics that identify you.
A few things on the site load from other services. When they do, those services see your device's IP address, as with any website:
- Google Fonts, for the typefaces
- OpenStreetMap, for the map showing where we are
- Teamup, for the Function Room and MUGA availability calendar
- Crowdfunder, for the donate button on the charity page. Crowdfunder may set its own cookies inside that button.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, X, Google Maps, Easyfundraising and our donation page take you to those sites, which have their own privacy and cookie policies. Donations are handled by the Alconbury Recreation Field Charity's donation provider, not by this website.
